Bizare Behavior with my Network after installing Windows XP SP2Greetings:
I used RIS to install Windows XP SP@ to completion. However, after the installation I am not able to use the the PC for Networking. I run an IPCONFIG /ALL and it returns nothing (Windows IP Configuration is the only line that returns). When I Double-Click on the NIC Icon from the System Tray, it shows 0 packets under Send and Recieve. RIS installed a Default Network installation (Client, File Sharing and TCP/IP). I am not sure why this is happening. I have never encountered this behavior. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? Regards, JS Aloha Johnny,
Is the NIC enabled? Can you confirm that TCP/IP is installed? What if you remove and reinstall the network adapter and its drivers? -Ben- Ben M.
