Hola!
Looking for some support/ someone who might be able to provide some
insight.

I have a PC- laptop that "connects" to my housemates wireless Airport
Router...
we had gone over a year w/ few bumps (meaning I've been able to fully
connect before)
BUT
the last few weeks I cannot get full access:
the message given is
"limited or no connectivity"
Repair is unsuccessful in fixing/ obtaining IP address and prompts me
to contact
the manager of the router....
Neither one of us is talented enough to resolve this problem-
Please help!!

Bob,
truly appreciate you getting back to me...
I linked to chi tech.net-
it is helpful to know that I'm getting closer to a resolution
but I'm not there yet.
I dowloaded the 4020 service pack for XP2/
after restarting and running into the same issue
I went to another possible suggestion:
Troubleshooting DHCP issues=
where would I go to:
"renew the ip by doing this command: ipconfig /renew.  Or/and this
command: netsh int ip reset c:\resetip.txt"

When I tried to "repair" the stop was that I am unable to renew the IP
address/
I;ve tried going to advanced settings/ I.P. properties-
I've triend entering the IP address given to me by my friend
= 169.254.148.68
when I do this the
"limited" goes away but then I get a "Cannot find the DNS server"
message--

Sorry to vent- I just don't know what to do or where to go for help;
in any case I appreciate your initial response.
Thanks,
Ron
