Windows Automatic UpdateWhen I go in under: Start menu - then help and support - and ask windows to
choose auto update, it says I'm not conected to the internet? But my internet is working fine - I just LAN. But here windows wants to configure a connection since it can't find one? This semmes very strange to me. Thanks Run the Network Setup Wizard to confirm that Windows knows the correct

Thanks This sounds like the Internet Connection Wizard is kicking-in, which happens
the first time Internet Explorer is used, irrespective of whether there is an Internet connection, or not! To stop this you can cancel the wizard once it's started to ask questions, or else go into the Internet section of Control Panel. OK'ing this section should convince Windows that 'the Internet' has been configured.
