Home Network/Work GroupI have 4 PC's operating Window's XP Professional. I used to be able to see
the shared documents folder on any of the computers from any of my other network computers. I could also see and connect to the printers on any computer from any other computer. Recently, access to one computer ("DEN Computer") has been eliminated from the other three computers. The DEN Computer can access files and printer from all of the other three computers on the network but the other computers cannot see the DEN Computer. I can see the DEN Computer as a computer when I view network computers but I cannot access it. Any ideas? -- Joe from Long Island Make sure no firewall blocks the file sharing and all computers have the same username and password. What do you receive if using net view \\denipaddress?

Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions." I am the administrator on the Dencomputer but I do not know how to look at permissions on this computer. I have compared the firewall settings to the other computers on the network but I cannot discern any differences.
