Sharing dial up over home networkI have 4 computers on a wireless home network. I only have dial up and at
this time only one can go on line at a time. How to I share this one dial up connection with all 4 computers? You can use ICS to share a dial up connection:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314066/en-us If your wireless network uses a router or access point device, you may have to turn off features such as DHCP. If your wireless network is Ad Hoc, you can follow this: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/bowman_02april08. mspx Doug Sherman MCSE, MCSA, MCP+I, MVP Show quoteHide quote "sapper" <sap***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EF6B63B8-67B7-4BFC-B80B-745739388CF4@microsoft.com... > I have 4 computers on a wireless home network. True, though they are much less likely to fuss about your sharing a
dialup connection, since they assume much less contention for dialup connections and the connection itself is the main factor limiting your use of "their" bandwidth.
