Small windows peer-to-peer netwok. Most computers can see one another but
there is one that will not permit any computer to attach. Tried everything,
file sharing and the like but will not permit connection. Making me nuts -
any suggestions?

Much appreciated.

Jim,

This is generally a personal firewall problem.

Also check the NetBT setting, and make it consistent on all computers.

Or look at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from the problem computer, and
from 2 others, and diagnose the problem.  Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
