Help with wireless card please

Hello,
I bought 2 new office computers to add to an existing wireless network.
Currently using D-Link514+.  The 2 new computers that I bought are Acer
Aspire desktops.  I also bought 2 new wireless cards Belkin 802.11g - one for
each.  I have done both machines exactly the same - one of them is perfect -
connects to the wireless network brilliantly - no problems ..  The other one
is crazy - It is pretty constantly telling me that I have a connection but I
cant use it ..  All settings say its working but it cant load a page or use
email (says I have no connection) ..  I would figure this to be a firewall
problem, so I disabled the windows firewall then the Norton anti virus (then
uninstalled it completely) but it still wont work ..  I have restored teh
whole thing 4 times and am now kind of sick of the whole event .l rang the
store that I bought it from but they fairly quickly distanced themselves due
to the fact that I have installed the card myself .. lol..

Any clues on the firewall or any other ideas or any anything would be
brilliant ..

Thanks

Sara

Are the 2 new wireless cards identical?  If so, switch them between
the two computers and see which computer's wireless access works.

If the same computer works after the switch and the same computer
doesn't work after the switch, the problem is on the computer that
doesn't work.

If the problem moves from one computer to the other after the switch,
the problem is with the wireless card.

Does the computer that doesn't work connect successfully to the
wireless network?  Does its wireless network connection get an IP
address from the router?  Can the computer ping the router and
Internet sites?

HI Steve,
Thanks for the reply and sorry I posted my next question in another area -
please find relevant section:

When I install the network card the
internet works fine for approx 10 minutes - then I get the page cannot be
displayed.  I have uninstalled norton anti virus (originally I thought it was
causing it..) I have disabled the windows firewall but still it wont load a
page or mail.  The weird thing is that I have auto update enabled and that is
updating - so the connection is fine ..  Thats the other thing I forgot to
mention is that the card utility is telling me that i have 82% connection -
but I just cant make explorer use it.

Hugely appreciated ..

Sara
