how can i logon my windows xp on windows nt 4.0 domain

i've 2 computers with windows xp professional sp2 installed,and i have a
server with windows nt 4.0 server,but when i try to logon, appear a message
windows cannot logon because the account is not available,but on the server
the accounts are available,why?

Tiago,

Does the message say "the account is not available", or "the domain is not
available"?  Using a Windows XP client on a domain requires specific settings in
the client setup, as well as the server.
