Problems with DNS Suffix

I started having this problem after installing the software/drivers for
a USB modem (Huawei SmartAx MT810) provided by my DSL provider, but I'm
not 100% sure it's related to it.

My Windows XP laptop started having problems when connecting to the
wireless network at work.
I can only browse the web for 20-30 seconds after enabling the wireless
connection (or restarting the computer). After that, the connection
drops. The router is working fine and the DHCP server is assigning a
valid IP to the laptop's wireless adapter. The connection works fine
when using an ethernet cable as well.

I did notice something strange when I type "ipconfig /all", there are 2
lines (the one below WINS Proxy Enabled and the one for the
"Connection-specific DNS Suffix") full of garbage as you can see below:

I have already uninstalled the software for the modem, but the problem
continues. Any ideas?
Any help is really appreciated. Thank you.

How/where should I check if iVP6 is enabled? Can I change the node to
be something other than peer-peer? Sorry, I don't really know much
about this.
Thanks.
