Roaming profile not 'Roaming'I have two computer that are networked togeather.
Both computer have Windows XP Professional. I created a profile 'John Doe' in both Computers. On computer #1 the profile was created as a roaming. I tested all of the setting of the profile and every thing worked. On computer #2 i tryed to logon and the roaming profile did not load. What did load was the profile on the local computer. Question is how do I setup computer #2 to logon the roaming profile on computer #1? Hi, Chuck -
Roaming profiles can only be hosted on Windows Server products, I'm afraid. Although you can tick the 'roaming profile' box, the profile will be stored locally unless the machine is part of a Windows Server domain that supports roaming profiles. Hope this helps - Thank you very much.
