VPN issues after offline files activatedWe have a VPN setup for remote users. The users get access to all resources
once connected. This has been working fine. Last week, i started experiencing problems on some of the notebooks (nb not all of them). The vpn connection initialises and connects, and the ip and dns address is assigned correctly. The user can just not connect to any resources. Can't ping anything on the network. If i try an nslookup, it can't find the dns server, so it reverts back to the isp connections dns server. I have been doing some trouble shooting to trace, but the only thing common on the notebooks which are experiencing this problem, is that they enabled the "offline files" option. I disabled the option, but the problem still persists. Any ideas? Sean One more thing i forgot to add, I disabled windows firewall just to make sure
there were no issues caused by it, but still the issue persists. All the notebooks are running XP Pro with SP2, and patched with the latest updates Show quoteHide quote "SeanL" wrote: > We have a VPN setup for remote users.
