hi,

I've got a desktop (xp) and a laptop (also xp)..both up to date

I've got a wireless network via a wireless router between both of these and
another desktop

prob is ...I've set up everything ok..file and printer sharing...all the
access rights...but the laptop can see the high-level (shared) drives but no
folders beneath them

keep getting errors about 'no access rights'' and drive not accesible,

I've spent hours searching the MS tech base and KB but nothing works.  I've
turned my local firewall off on my desktop..but still the laptop can't get
access to the desktop. 

So..what next ?? help  please

Simple File Sharing means that Guest (network) is enabled. This means

folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the
Shared Documents folder.
