Peer-2-peer, Windows XP PRO/2000 can't see each otherI just got a new XP Pro machine, ran it thru the network wizard, used the
same workgroup name, in order to join the network. None of my Windows 2000 machines can see (or find when I do a search) the XP machine. Same goes when I look for Windows 2000 computers on the XP. However, the XP says it is in a workgroup with the same name as my current network. I know I'm likely overlooking something. Any suggestions as to what is causing the problem? I tried making a "Network Wizard Disk" off the XP to run on the Windows 2000 computers but it would not run the execution file. It was only compatible with 98, ME, Millinium, NOT Windows 2000. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Mark Matasovsky matasov***@aol.com On Thu, 16 Jun 2005 11:36:02 -0700, Mark Matasovsky <Mark
