Remote Desktopwithin the same network in my house. I have done this before and it worked but recently it stopped working. My work pc can still RDC to my server at another location across the internet. This leads me to believe that it is my home computer that has the issue. The home computer can ping the work pc. I can telnet from the work pc to the home computer and using net stat on the home computer I know it is listening on 3389. Here is the IP of the home computer: Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : Red Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Unknown IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-0C-6E-2B-B7-5F Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.103 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 66.45.196.100 66.45.196.101 Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Monday, October 16, 2006 8:49:15 PM Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Tuesday, October 17, 2006 8:49:15 PM Any help would be great!
