I am trying to use RDC to connect my wrok laptop to my home machine when
within the same network in my house.  I have done this before and it worked
but recently it stopped working.  My work pc can still RDC to my server at
another location across the internet.  This leads me to believe that it is my
home computer that has the issue.

The home computer can ping the work pc.  I can telnet from the work pc to
the home computer and using net stat on the home computer I know it is
listening on 3389.

Here is the IP of the home computer:

Any chance the XP SP2 Windows Firewall is blocking incoming Remote Desktop
connections on your home PC?

Are you running any software like NAV worm protection or OneCare Live that
may be blocking incoming RDP requests? I have also seen reports of a Cisco
VPN client blocking incoming RDP requests?

Can you access the PC from another local PC on the same LAN using Remote
Desktop?

Thanks for the follow up!  I am not.  I have even disabled all the soft
including my antivirus just in case.  Still no go?  I am really frustrated
with it.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.
