Orange broadband outage

I appreciate this is not correct NG.  I subscribe to Orange broadband which
has not been usable for more than 24 hours.  In desperation I have signed up
to a free dial-up service which doesn't give me access to all the usual NGs.

My question is just what is happening at orange (and perhaps others?)  The
only info from Orange is that has been affected by something by a third
party.  any info please?

Regards.
