PC taking 5 mins to log on

Hello

I've currently an issue with one of my clients.
We have upgraded our Clients system from W2k server using Exchange 2k to
Windows 2003 server with Exchange 2003 both fully updated and service packed.

There are about 35 users/pc's on the network all using roaming profiles.

One of the users is having an issue when she logs onto her PC. Once she
inputs her user name and password to log on the PC takes up to 5 mins to log
on seeming to freeze at the applying security section of the log in.

I've checked for any shortcuts and printers in the profile that were
pointing to the old server but still the problem exists. Her Roaming Profile
isn't that either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Matt Edgar

Check the DNS settings on the slow PC - it should be set up to use only the
domain DNS for name resolution.  Also be sure there are no large files in
her roaming profile that are getting copied at each login.
