Network design problemMy company is doing virtual office business.
We have 5 office room for renting to clients. Anyone can give me advise for the network? Some basic requirement as follow: 1. All Rooms is seperate by defualt, they cannot talk to each other. 2. If the client rent for more than a room, the two rooms should be talked and connected in LAN. 3. There is a public area with Wi-Fi connections. Thanks for any advise. I'm assuming that clients wil use their own computers, you're only providing
the wiring. You can achieve the wired part with a managed hub, most of which will allow you to separate the LAN into segments. Wireless is a bit more of an issue; AFAICS it can only connect to one office, or all. If Internet access is required, that would have to be provided via a router which allows LAN port isolation. I'm thnking you might want to as a Cisco guru about this kind of thing; it's their field. ------------------------------- An alternative approach to XP network logon - http://mylogon.net
