Whenever I look in Internet Options,Connections, dial up settings,The proxy
settings boxes in the Dial up and the Lan boxes are always ticked. My Dial up
I.S.P. tell me this is wrong. I untick these boxes,(several times a
day),confirm this action,sometimes restart Windows,Reboot windows,and when I
look again these boxes are ticked again
                           How can I stop this.

Older versions of Norton Antivirus used a proxy for its email scanning.
Perhaps the av you are using does the same. Otherwise, it would be a
good idea to scan for malware. Post back if you need help with that.
