Tools for Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)Hello,
I cant find any tools for the Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing. I was looking for some logging, reporting, monitoring tools but couldnt find anything. Now i wonder if there are any tools at all that somehow give a benefit to ICS. I really enjoy using it and dont want to use something else but its a blackbox that is either On or Off and i would like some more info/control. Thanks Thorsten

A blackbox. You can run diagnostics on the computer itself, but that's it. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/04/watching-what-your-computer-is-doing.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/04/watching-what-your-computer-is-doing.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience. My email is AT DOT actual address pchuck mvps org. unfortunately its working on a deeper level so a basic netstat and tools
like netlimiter dont see its traffic. I was expecting that there is nothing but it was worth a try :) thanks Show quoteHide quote "Chuck" <n***@example.net> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:jptvj29gheu6brirgen4csjnpi7pqtedcq@4ax.com... > On Wed, 25 Oct 2006 16:42:59 +0200, "ThorstenK" <my.n***@gmx.de> wrote: > >>Hello, >> >>I cant find any tools for the Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing. >>I was looking for some logging, reporting, monitoring tools but couldnt >>find >>anything. >>Now i wonder if there are any tools at all that somehow give a benefit to >>ICS. >> >>I really enjoy using it and dont want to use something else but its a >>blackbox that is either On or Off and i would like some more info/control. >> >>Thanks >> Thorsten > > Hi Thorsten, > > ICS is just that.
