Check and see if you have 802.1x authentication enabled on the network
connection.  Ethernet or WiFi (and which are you using?).

If it is truly the router Internet connection indicator dropping out and not
your PC's connection indicator you have either a line problem or a router
problem and in either case your ISP needs to address this issue.  Nothing
your PC or Windows does can cause the router to drop its connection.
