One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html>
http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html

Or provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from each computer, so we can
diagnose the problem.  Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
instructions precisely (download browstat!):

And if you're needing to describe the problem in more detail (which wouldn't be
a bad idea), please write as if you are writing a problem report, not an IM
message.  Take 10 extra minutes, and proofread what you wrote.  We'll wait for
you.

You have IPV6, aka Teredo Tunneling on MyLaptop.  That's frequently problematic
in Windows Networking.  You need to remove that, then rerun the diagnostics.

And I think that you're going to find running "browstat status" easier, and more
useful, than "wipe off network and set up again".
