MCE & DomainsIs it true that, like XP Home, a Windows XP MCE system absolutely can not
join a Windows Server 2003 domain? If there is no way to do so, is there instead some kind of user/password coordinating application that would keep users and passwords synchronized between different systems? On Sun, 29 Oct 2006 11:52:02 -0800, james <ja***@discussions.microsoft.com>

Local accounts mean that you have to add and adjust the accounts locally, that is, from the desktop of each computer. <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887212> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887212 That said, PSExec (a component of the free PSTools from SysInternals) might help you run "net user" remotely. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/essential-tools-for-desktop-and.html#PSTools> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/essential-tools-for-desktop-and.html#PSTools -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
