Used BCWipe 3 to wipe free space and no more internet connection nI am using XP home with sp2 updates. I downloaded BCwipe from Jetico and
used it to wipe my free space on my c drive. Unfortunately now I cannot get online at all although my wireless card and even when directly connected my computer sees the connection. It just will not get an ip address. My other computers are working fine. I think the bcwipe program deleted or wrote over some important file or connection...oops. My network connections say limited or no connectivity and I cannot get online. Has anyone experienced this before with any of these programs? It's not one of those simple fixes because I sat on the phone with belkin and then microsoft for hours today. I am thinking now that I need to reinstall windows xp. any ideas? PugDog wrote:

Did you try a System Restore before you installed and ran this program? If not, that would be a good idea. Malke
