Difficulty with home edition connecting to webHi:
I'm running XP home edition on an older machine with a 3Com network card connected to a Linksys router and then a cable modem. I get the message "can't reset IP address" from the windows troubleshooter. I've tried about every configuration that I can think of. There are two other machines on the router (one running Win98 and the other XP) that work fine. Any suggestions???? Thanks, Mark Schultz msch***@bu.edu wrote:

If you can get online then, you know the 3Com has died and gone to NIC Heaven. Malke
