Difficulty with home edition connecting to webHi:
I'm running XP home edition on an older machine with a 3Com network card connected to a Linksys router and then a cable modem. I get the message "can't reset IP address" from the windows troubleshooter. I've tried about every configuration that I can think of. Any suggestions???? > Thanks, > Mark Schultz between the time things worked and the time they didn't? If you can't pinpoint anything, uninstall the 3Com and swap it out for a known-working NIC. If you can get online then, you know the 3Com has died and gone to NIC Heaven. Malke
