Internet explorer scrolling all by itself !Very annoying problem when you're trying to read a page and it scrolls up or
down or very erratically ! Anyone else had this or know a solution. I did change a setting after it first started doing it which didn't fix the problem. The setting I changed was smooth scrolling. What I will do is change my mouse to see if the scroll-roller (or whatever it's called again I forget, it's not thumwheel is it ;-) ) has a problem. I will put just a normal PS2 mouse on for now and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help out there. MartinP wrote:

If the thing that changed was that you installed IE7, then post in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very recently. Malke
