Metric or priority problem with ethernet and wireless connection

In our company we have wireless network and ethernet wired connection.

Wireless is used for internet and vpn
Ethernet wired connection is used for domain

Problem

One user connected to the ethernet tries acess the domain but he wasn't able
to view the domain because of the higher priority of wireless connection. It
was routing the traffic through wirless connection but had nowhere to go so
it gave an error network not found. I set up the metric from automatic to 10
on ethernet and Wireless 20.

But he is still having those problems? any other solution?

I tell himm to disable the wireless once he is connected through ethernet
but when he goes to a meetng using wireless and comesback the ethernet part
stops giving error or doesn't connect automatically.

Sorry for such a long question, a lil complex problem.

1.  Clients should point only to the AD DNS server for DNS and have only one
default gateway - the IP of the wireless router.

2.  On the client, right click My Network Places and select Properties.
Click Advanced/Advanced Settings.  Make sure the wired adapter is at the top
of the binding order.

Yes the binding has the Ethernet connection on top and wirless as second.
