Need help with disabling network sharinggames over the internet. Need to disable Network Sharing. Not sure how to even find this as don't know where to look. sure that shared folders aren't accessible then the main thing is to ensure the firewall is On, and that the 'file and printer sharing' exception isn't ticked. If you don't intend to share files on a local network, then disabling the Server service will provide a further degree of security.
