File Sharing between XP and 2000

I have 2 laptops on a home network. One is running XP and the other is
running 2000. I selected files to be shared on the laptop running 2000, and
made sure both were in the same workgroup. The XP can see everyone in the
network, but it cannot open and explore the laptop running 2000. Everytime I
try to open it, I get a dialog box that states:

\\Dell-laptop is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions. The network path was not found.  [OK]

When I search the network from the Win2K installation, it does not recognize
any other computers on the network.

Any ideas?

Start by looking at any firewall logs, hardware or software.  Usually this
is a firewall setting.
