Is 'Remote Connection' encrypted the same as 'VPN'?

Jack (MVP-Networking).
Hi

This page would explain how to set your system to be working through the
Internet.

http://www.ezlan.net/myip.html

This is for Remote Desktop,
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/northrup_03may16.mspx

You can use a Router's NAT Firewall (look at your Router's manual),  or the
Host File, or a good software Firewall, to block every thing, allowing only
selected IPs.

Jack (MVP-Networking).
