Changing ip will stop to connect server --- help for resolving this problemI have 2 labs of 10 pcs each and 1 server connected to broadband server's ip address: 192.168.0.1 Lab 1 --- 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.12 In Lab 1 as i give gateway 192.168.0.1 ,, all things works fine. ,, internet is also fine. But i want to change my lab2 ips are as 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.11 After putting this value ,, i can't connect to the internet server. plz. give solution of the problem.. Eagarly waiting for reply.. Eagarly waiting for reply.. > >Regards > >Deepak so, the lab2 computers are on a different subnet than the server, so they can't communicate with it: Lab1 and server: 192.168.0.x Lab2: 192.168.1.x One solution would be to change the subnet mask on each computer to 255.255.0.0. Then, all of the computers would be in the 192.168.x.x. subnet. However, lab1 computers would then be able to communicate with lab2 computers. If you don't want that, a different (and more complicated) solution is needed.
