Event ID 5719 NETLOGONwhen the machine is first booted (before login): "No Domain Controller is available for domain LVC_JNJ due to the following: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request..." This is followed by W32Time errors (ID 29 & 14). These errors only occur prior to login and only seem to affect Group Policies from taking affect which IS a problem for us. The policies eventually take affect after multiple reboots, etc. For trouble-shooting steps - I have moved machines around (problem stays with machine). I have re-joined the domain (doesn't help). We have tried new network switches AND we have recently replaced our domain controllers (same domain - just moved to new servers (using DCpromo)). If I assigned a static IP to the machine - the problem seems to go away (we are using MS DHCP services on our domain controllers - these DHCP servers are also new). I hope this makes sense and that someone has seen this and/or knows what steps to take next! Thanks! Any errors when using dcgiag or netdiag? This search result may help,

no errors other than the WINS error with Netdiag. DCdiag comes up clean almost every time. Show quoteHide quote "Robert L [MVP - Networking]" wrote: > Any errors when using dcgiag or netdiag? incorrect DNS server address(es). ipconfig /all should reveal what is being assigned. DNS is correct - we have 2 DNS servers (AD integrated) and they are getting
assigned properly to all workstations. Again - this is with only some workstations - not all workstations and we only have one subnet (~45 computers). My workstation and many others do NOT get these errors but others do. Thanks!
