proxy setting disabledI have IBM thinkpad laptop.
In my office Enviroment i uses proxy server setting to get connected with my mail server or using internet. but at my home i uses broadband connection for internet. when i again come back in the office enviroment my proxy setting in Internet explorer is automatically disabled. then again i have to enable that setting. Is there any parmanent setting in Windows Xp professsional, in that proxy setting not get disabled when i use broadband connection. gaurav mathur HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.
Change ProxyEnable from a 1 to a 0. Either you have a local gp or when you connect your laptop to the network, A.D. group policies will re-enable this.
