Hi everyone, can u pls help me?

I've installed vmware sever on my desktop computer. But after a while i
lost my internet access, and when i open the network conection menu, i
saw both network cards (lan and wireless) they were renamed something
like "vmware network interface..." and i uninstalled the vmware server
application.

After that my network cards dissapered! I even reinstalled the windows
xp, but no network cards. I also tried to boot the computer with Linux
Ubuntu Live CD, but no network cards were found.

Can u help me how can i solve the problem?

As you reinstalled the windows xp, there is still no network card
founded. I guess it's your NIC sit in the slot loosely  or corrupted (
re-plug the NIC or replace it with another NIC ).
