I think I might be through with this linksys wired router.  I am on my third
one.  It may also be causing some of my network problems.
After initial setup everything works pretty good for a couple of weeks then
things start to get clogged up.

Today it finally quit working altogether.  I do resets , hard resets,
everything you can imagine and still no joy.
when I go to the router page in IE it shows the computer as clients with the
correct IP's but it will not pass any information through it.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or am I really that unique ???

Hi

Entry Level Routers are very inexpensive and tend to have low QA control.

There is No known trouble of this nature with the Linksys wired line.

Three Routers in a row is an indication that it is some thing else and Not
the Router per-se. I do not know how and what for you are using your
Network. I just would like to indicate (as an example) that many young
people try to put on the Router few computers that are 24/7 busy in P2P
activities (BT and the like).  Such a use would ”Clog” Entry Level Routers.

Jeez, I don't know what you're talking about, but ... the ONLY thing you
said that I can possibly agree with is that the problem is very likely
elsewhere and the "clogging" issue, whatver that is supposed to mean, is a
symptom of something else going on.

That line above is just plain stupid.  You cannot say that with any
authority other than as far as you know, or IFF you even know anything at
all.

I can't help the OP with his issues, but I can try to help him weed out some
of the misinformation when it appears.

I know it's already been suggested, but I would repeat the router reset
sequence and be certain that it actually resets.  I had trouble with mine
that way once and when I finally researched it, it turned out I had to hold
the reset button for 60 seconds, an ungodly long time to my way of thinking!
But, when I did that, it finally did reset.  RTFM bit me right on the ass
that time!
