Hi everyone,
I am having a little problem with my internet connection since I installed
internet explorer 7.
I Can't use my FTP programs such as Webdisk client which I need for school,
and I can't use other programs that access the internet such as Pokerstars.com
They both say connectivity error or unable to connect.
I can use the internet though, and surf and read my email, and use msn
messenger, and limewire, I just can't use certain programs. I have
uninstalled them and reninstalled them, but still nothing.

I ran a diagnostic and it came back with this

Can someone please help me with this?

Mengxin

Looks like a security setting might be set too high or your firewall is
blocking certain apps. Under tools options security setting put
pokerstars.com in your trusted list to see if it helps. Or reset (power
on/off) your modem and router to see it helps. Good luck. Only other
suggestion is to try running microsoft updates.

10061 WSAECONNREFUSED
Connection refused.
No connection could be made because the target computer actively refused it.
This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on
the foreign hostâ€”that is, one with no server application running.

12029 ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT
The attempt to connect to the server failed.
