connection problem.. HELP??I am having a problem connecting to the internet on my brothers pc. I know
its not a modem or router problem because I get a wireless connection on my lap top. When i log in on the pc it says "The file 'gewmi.mof' on Marvell Yukon gigabit ethernet adapter installation disk is needed". My brothers dont have the disk and I am wondering the best way to get that installed again. I have found that you can install the driver from the internet but how am i supposed to do that on my pc when i can't get internet on there. anything?? Hi
"Marvell Yukon gigabit Ethernet adapter" is probably not the Wireless (there is No Giga Wireless, YET, ;) ), it sound like the Onboard wired card, or a miss-naming of an Onboard wireless card. But it might indicate that something is wrong with the chipset and the Network cards drivers. Log to the PC, or and the Wireless Brand support site. Most of the manufacturers have Chipset and Card Drivers ready for download. Jack (MVP-Networking).
