How to Share Wireless Internet connection on wired lanI have a UTP switch with 3 pcs connected, sharing printer, disks etc. In one
pc, I added another NIC (wireless) through which Ican share my neigbours ADSL connection via his wireless network. 1. If I enable both nics, the wireless connection is blocked. unplugging the wired lan, the wireless connection works fine. 2. How do I share this wireless connection with my wired lan for general Ineternet access? Perhaps a better explanation:
------> Wireless NIC to Router -----> Internet PC -------> Ethernet Nic to Switch ------> PC A and Laptop I want laptop to use Wireless NIC to access Internet . Problem: Only 1 of the NICs will work at a time. Enabling Ethernet Nic, cause W-Nic to not work. Disable Ethernet NIC and Wireless NIC works fine. Can I share internet connection to PC A and Laptop? How? Can I share internet >connection to PC A and Laptop? How? Service Providers don't approve of this service. And do you trust your neighbour? You're putting your computers in his influence. Now your first description doesn't mention a router. Where is the router? What make and model is it? Your verbal description (first), and the "diagram" and "better explanation" (second), don't match. Try again a third time. Try and make the verbal and diagram match. And describe each "computer" by network name, not "this pc" and "that laptop". -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
