I have a desktop and a laptop, both sharing an internet connection through a
wireless router (desktop is connected via ethernet cable, laptop wirelessly).
I used the windows wizard to create a home network and share files and
preinters.  For some reason, my desktop can see the shared resources on the
laptop, but the laptop cannot see the shared resources on the desktop.  Is
there a setting I am missing or a step I skipped?  Thanks in advance for the
help.

Thanks.  You were right, stupid mistake on my part.  McAfee firewall required
not only adding the "allow LAN computers" but you have to check the box
otherwise it is not enabled.  Thanks again!
