Workgroup How many PC's ?What is the max limit for a workgroup, i hear it's only 10!

There are limits on the number of inbound connections that a PC may concurrently have; so, if you use one PC as a file-server, only a handful of other PCs can concurrently connect to its files. The other reply you got tells you the limits on inbound connections that can be made to various Windows desktop versions . If you don't want to get a server and create an AD domain, I suggest you get a NAS box or something else (Linux?) to act as a centralized file server. |
