Since I dragged a My Documents folder into Sharedocs folder, I can no longer
access Sharedocs on remote computers on my network.  Just to check, I made
every folder including the My Documents folder in the Sharedocs folder
shareable.  They are all remotely accessible .  Still the parent folder
remains unaccessible.

Help.

XP Home - has Sharedocs

XP Pro x64 is is denied access.

You can not "drag" the My Documents folder to a new location because it is a
System File.  To relocate My Documents, first put things back where they
were, and then right click on My documents and click on the Move button.
Then just follow the onscreen instructions.

I deleted the My Documents Folder and one other folder I had put in
ShareDocs.  I rebooted.  But nothing has changed.  I get "access denied" when
I try to access the folder from other computers on the network.

It was working initially.

There is another folder in Network Places Named Documents that is, in fact,
the Sharedocs folder.  The Sharedocs folder error message says that the name
cannot be found when you click it.

So there is something about the name that is causing this problem.
