Reconnect At Logon with Windows XP Pro does not work. When making a mapped network drive and requiring teh Reconnect At Startup option this does not work. When restarting Windows XP the mapped drive is not available for programs, but when trying in Eplorer the drive is available I know several other people had this problem as following postings show: http://groups.google.be/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web/browse_thread/thread/13785dccb3c35453/96f124bdb5b3836f http://groups.google.be/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web/browse_thread/thread/84357e7ae9847e4b/625b2a58552b8b7d http://groups.google.be/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web/browse_thread/thread/d8c550215faefc83/b9e6670aac5eecd0 I was wondering if this problem allready got solved in a Service Pack or something? I couldn't find anything about Microsoft having solved this problem. Thanks, Serge Desmedt "Reconnect at startup" works fine for me. If it doesn't for you then I'd
put a batch file in the All Users\Startup menu to un-map and re-map network drives. -- Show quoteHide quoteRichard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] rghar***@gmail.com * NEW! However, there seems to be a problem here, and as shown by the links in my original post we are not the only ones experiencing it. So I was wondering if Microsoft allready solved it officialy in some service pack or other fix. Serge Desmedt Richard G.
