can't connect

i just recently have been unable to connect to the internet. When trying to
connect, i get the message "error 769 the specified destination is
unreachable. can someone tell me what give & how do i fix it?

Does your Internet service use PPPoE?

Do you get this for all websites? From what browser or other Internet client?
If the above article isn't helpful, then I'd suspect LSP / Winsock corruption.
