Unauthorized to access computers

I have set up and networked with file and print sharing a hard wired desktop
and wireless laptop.  They are both part of the same workgroup.  They
recognize each other but whenever I click on the other to access the files or
printer, I am told that I am not authorized to access it.

I am the administrator on both computers and don't have passwords on them.

Why does this happen?

Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.
