VPN and Internet ConnectionPlease redirect me if this is not the correct newsgroup.
I am a programmer (leaving networking to the network pros) and sometimes to clients' via a Windows VPN. While connected, my machine (Win XP SP2) can no longer connect to the internet. Therefore, I can't get email, etc. My local setup is a peer-peer LAN connecting to the internet via a Netgear firewall/router. Is there anything I can do on my end to enable me to still access the intenet while connected to the VPN? I do have an additional network adapter available, if that helps. -- AG Email: npATadhdataDOTcom Try to uncheck use gateway in remote network. Or this search result may

Much of what was contained in the link pages, I am not comfortable enough with to play with. -- Show quoteHide quoteAG Email: npATadhdataDOTcom "Robert L. on the link), but that is what I tried. When I unchecked it, the VPN would not connect. -- Show quoteHide quoteAG Email: npATadhdataDOTcom "smlunatick" <yves***@gmail.com> wrote in message It is supposed to be quite easy to set the Windows VPN.news:c8cdc991-2309-4374-ac73-70d482dd55f1@x16g2000prn.googlegroups.com...
