IP Addr SwitchinI have W2008 server and about 6 Win XP PC's. All of a sudden one of the PC's
started swith Preferred DNS every time I shut it down and restart it. The PDNS is suppose to be the server DNS which is a 192.168.2.xx. The PDNS that comes up when PC is restarted is an 88.xx.xx.xx. One resolution is to not shut down and restart PC. However, I need another if anyone can help me with it. Thanks in advance and have the great weekend. KenP Compare network settings from the miscreant PC to one that is behaving
correctly. Check how an IP address, DNS addresses, etc. are obtained. -- Show quoteHide quoteRichard G. Harper [MVP Desktop] rghar***@gmail.com * NEW!
