Please give us more information to understand the problem:

1. How are you trying to view jpegs on the network?
2. What exactly happens when you do it?
3. If there's an error message, what does it say.
4. Can the XP computer see its own jpegs?

I am using Explore.  I go to My Network Places-->Microsoft Windows
Network-->Network workgroup--> other computer-->& navigate to the shared
folder with subfolders.  I see all  PDFs & Docs, but no Jpegs
