If the printer is connected to the PC it does Not matter if it is wired or wireless the sharing process is the same. Vista File and Printer Sharing- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx Windows XP File Sharing - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304040 Printer Sharing XP - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/honeycutt_july2.mspx Windows Native Firewall setting for Sharing XP - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875357 However, if the printer is Wireless and Network ready it can be configured to work with the Wireless Router, then every computer that is connected to the Router (wire or wireless) should be capable to print to it. If such is the case, it has be be installed as network printer. Instructions and software should be on the CD that came with it. We are sharing one other printer already which is connected to the other pc via usb. and also sharing my external usb hard drive. So i will see if the new printer shows up on the other pc. thanks for you suggestions timO' wrote:

To get the printer working on the other computer, just do what you did on the first one -- put the printer's CD in the computer and follow the directions to install the printer. -- Lem -- MS-MVP To the moon and back with 2K words of RAM and 36K words of ROM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer http://history.nasa.gov/afj/compessay.htm
