\\Comptername asks for login password?

I have two computer (1 Desktop and 1 Laptop) and both are running on Windows
XP. Laptop runs on my business domain with my Desktop is on WORKGROUP.

when i type in \\computername it asks for login password. How can i disable
that so that i can access my shared folders on both the computers? without
having to enter the login password?

forgot to mention that both of my systems are not using SIMPLE FILE SHARING

Since "Laptop runs on my business domain", you may want to create the same
username and password on both computer. Or this search result may help.
