System check failedI recently ran a health check for my computer and received two failed systems
messages. Modems and Network Adapter: Network Adapter: [00000001] Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC (FAILED) IPAddress = 192.xxx.xx (FAILED) (I purposely left out the IP address, wasn't sure if it like showing your social over the internet) and IP Address: [00000001] Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC (FAILED) - IPAddress = 192.xxx.xx (FAILED) I also noticed that the both IP addresses are different from one another. (the last two digits specifically). I hope this helps in resolving my issues of very slow in just about all aspects. Sometimes, in closing the computer, I have to close twice. thanks, valerie "Health Check" primarily verifies important updates have been installed.
Using a wireless connection will result in failed or not connected network/modem adaptor. Hi
The 192.168.xx.xx IPs are private LAN IPs. Private IPs can not pass the Router and travel over the Internet, and the same numbers can be found on Millions of computers. I.e. there is No security risk in revealing these numbers. The last group of numbers in each IP should be unique to each computer otherwise the network would not work correctly. If there is specific problem with your Network let us know, other this error is insignificant.
