Neeed helphey guys.. i reali need help with this.. i am currentli using a toshiba
notebook which is running on vista.. and is connected wirelessli to my netgear WGT624. The WGT624 is connected to a netcom VOIP via a ETHernet cable and another ETHernet cable is running from the VOIP to my Thomson speedtouch modem. now, everything work perfectli with my vista comp i can go online and everyhting.. but i recently got my old xp notebook fixed.. i bring it home try to connect it to the Netgear wirelessli.. it connects but it says "the connection is limited or no connectivity" . how do i fix this problem? please help! The wireless may not get IP from DHCP. Does ipconfig /all shows 169.254.x.x

Yep.. ipconfig shows autoconfiguration 169.254.121.242
do i need to update the network adopter .. or the wireless adopter.. since i used vista to configure.. the wireless router?? or should i reformat the xp and re install a fresh copy so all previous configuration wipes out and then re-configure wireless router through xp?
